The Library with it’s hallmark stained glass window featuring the School crest, has been the centre of both research and recreational reading since 1944.
Originally housed in the the Mary Dawson Science Block (the first science block), the new Library was built in the 1960’s. In 2014 it was renovated and renamed in 2015 – The Founders Memorial Library. The Scotland-made stained glass window featuring the school crest has been carefully preserved as the Library’s centerpiece. The window was dedicated to Rev J.F. Gartshore, secretary to the Board of Management 1925-1939.
The Library boasts some 15,000 volumes including a wide collection of reference books, novels and autobiographies.
