Are donations to the SAHS Foundation tax-deductible?
The SAHS Foundation is a registered charitable foundation under Jamaica’s Charities Act. For US residents, online donations are tax-deductible through the St Andrew Alumnae Association Washington DC Metropolitan Chapter. The St Andrew Alumnae Association New York Inc is also a registered 501 (c)3.
If I give to the Foundation am I giving to the School?
Yes, the Foundation working collaboratively with Principal Mrs. Sharon Reid and the Board of Management, establishes priority needs for the School. Any donation to the Foundation supports these needs or any emergencies that may arise. The Foundation spearheads the Schools’ fundraising efforts. In giving to the Foundation you are giving to the School.
I don’t want to give online – what are my options?
You can transfer money to the school as detailed in the attached Money Transfer Instructions or mail a cheque to us in any currency.Our mailing address is:

Can I name the Foundation or the School in my will or as a beneficiary on my insurance?
Yes you can name the St. Andrew High School Foundation or the school as a beneficiary in your will or on your insurance. Gifting with Insurance with a Guardian Life Policy is an easy way to do this. We are honoured and humbled should you decide to do so.How will my donation be acknowledged?
