History of Hockey & St Andrew
A Rich and Wonderful History –
From the inception hockey has been an important part of life at St Andrew. A hockey field was already on the Cecelio Avenue property when it was purchased. The School and Old Girls have maintained a strong tradition of leadership on and off the hockey field as well as being many time Champions in inter school and club competitions. Many all-Jamaica captains came from SAHS.

Two Old Girls exemplify our continuing hockey tradition:

She is the oldest and longest still actively serving member of the Jamaica Hockey Federation. Read the Hockey Club tribute to this hockey icon.
- Dr Michelle Holt – SAOGA SAINT Awardee Michelle Holt continues to play an active role as Coach and Mentor for the school team and the Jamaica National team. Michelle also plays an active role in the administration of hockey in Jamaica .
