Dear Parents / Guardians,

This certainly has been a time like no other. As you may be aware, the Minister of Education, Youth and Information (MoEYI), Hon. Karl Samuda announced on Friday August 21, 2020 that the new academic year would not begin until Monday October 5, 2020.

We are disquieted about our girls, their general welfare and their education. Our incoming Grade 11 students are of particular concern as this is a significant year for them. We are at this time looking at the various options to keep students engaged. With this in mind we are going to proceed with the book rental distribution for Grades 7-10. Parents, you may come to collect the books on your daughter’s behalf. All students reporting to school to collect books must do so in full uniform. Please see the updated opening schedule below which has been added to the website calendar.

All meetings that were scheduled for students and/ parents to attend have been suspended until further notice EXCEPT Grade 7 orientation.

For students who have recently completed the CXC CSEC examination we will be doing Grade 12 applications online. A link with the application form and process will be emailed to students in September before the results are scheduled for release (September 22, 2020).

Parents please be reminded that you need to log on to the RenWeb and update your demographic information. Failure to do this, may impact your receipt of correspondence from the school.

I know that the ladies are not happy with the news of the delay in school reopening. Even when they say that they hate school, I know that they miss the space. I pray that we will see some solutions shortly. Please follow the protocols and keep yourself safe.

We continue to trust in the Lord, Covid-19 did not take Him by surprise and He has the whole world in His hands. We trust Him with our lives and the hope of Life More Abundant.
