The Georgia Chapter’s main annual fund raising event, a Cocktail and Tea in Stone Mountain, Georgia on 4 June 2016 proved to be the biggest and most exciting of the 3 events held to date.
Supported by alumni from almost every high school in Jamaica, the 4-hour event provided steel pan music, Jamaican folk trivia and Jamaican oldies but goodies music. The lakeside and verdant setting enhanced the ambiance of a truly relaxing and elegant occasion.
An unprecedented number of SAHS old girls from Jamaica and various stat
es in the US turned up in support of our alma mater. The general comment from everyone was ‘We will be back next year’.
Grateful thanks to all who supported us in various ways. All proceeds will be used to support programs at school.
